Our 2025 Load Runner enclosed trailer is 102 inches wide and 20 feet long with a 9,900 lb GVWR, and the lockable rear and side doors mean cargo stays out of sight overnight. It is the trailer we recommend for:
Load the heaviest items first and toward the front of the box, ahead of the axles, so the trailer carries proper tongue weight and tows straight.

If the cargo does not care about weather and you are hauling it the same day, an open trailer saves money. If it would be ruined by a surprise storm or sits overnight, the enclosed trailer pays for itself. Our flatbed vs. enclosed comparison walks through the trade-off, and what size trailer do I need helps you size a move.
A tall box catches more wind than an open deck, so slow down on gusty days on I-25 and the open stretches east of Powers, and give yourself extra room on Ute Pass grades. Every trailer in our fleet has electric brakes, so your tow vehicle needs a working brake controller and a 7-way connector. Read our Colorado wind and winter towing checklist and trailer brakes guide before you go.
Iron Capital is family-owned and based right here in Colorado Springs, so you're renting from people who tow these same trailers up Ute Pass, across the Powers corridor, and down I-25 to Pueblo. We keep the fleet maintained ourselves, answer the phone seven days a week, and include the winch, straps, and ramps that national chains charge extra for.
Rentals are simple: reserve with a $50 booking fee (applied to your total), bring a valid Colorado license, proof of auto insurance, and a credit card for the refundable deposit, then hook up and go.
